If you hate exercise, but you know you really should do some to lose weight, it’s time to broaden your ideas about exercise.
It need NOT just mean going to the gym and being bored on a treadmill.
The simplest possible alternative is a brisk walk with a like-minded companion, or a dog.
Swimming will burn up those calories while sparing the joints, if you suffer with bad knees or arthritis.
Or perhaps you’d prefer to dance? There are lots of different types of dancing that will keep you active while enjoying yourself.
My own favourite way to exercise is line-dancing. Here’s my local class: Js Linedance, in fact I help run it. It probably won’t be close enough for you to visit us, but check on the Links page, and some of the magazines and other places to dance.
